SHANIKA SUNRISE: THE BOYCOTT
In a word, Shanika Sunrise is a menace. A transfemme Indian rapper who writes and produces all of her own music, Miss Sunrise began making music in 2017 as catharsis during a teenage cancer diagnosis. Since then, she has gone on to light up stages across the globe, opened for stars such as Chappell Roan and Moonchild Sanelly, and performed her songs everywhere from Paris to New York City. Whilst her music spans genres, Shanika’s songs are always lively and energetic, and her metaphorical and comedic lyrics are designed to entertain and empower the "shrimps", the collective name for her outrageous fanbase.
At Shanika's shows, you can expect her breakdancing, rallying earworm crowd chants and pumping adrenaline through her microphone.
You found her on purpose, so join the movement today and #BoycottShanikaSunriseto put a stop to a woman who has already gotten away with too much. Seriously. Enough is enough...
